Dallas, Tx - In a re-match of last seasons Region Final the Crusaders fell to #7 Kansas Christian College by the final score of 6-1 on Saturday afternoon. The action happened fast and often with KCC scoring their first goal less than 5 minutes into the contest as freshman Forward Christian Hamid chipped the DCC Keeper, Julian Cardenas, to give the Falcons an early 1-0 lead. KCC would net another goal before Crusader forward Angel Quintero found the back of the net in the 20th minute off an assist from sophomore Justin McBride. Unfortunately, that's where the scoring stopped for the Crusaders as the defending region champions would net another goal before the half and then three more in the second to knock off the upstart Crusaders 6-1. The game was controlled by the Falcons for the entirety of the 90 minutes as they outshot the Crusaders 18-11 and held possession for more than 60% of the contest. The action doesn't stop for DCC as they'll be back on the road this coming Tuesday (9/18) when they head to Oklahoma City for a contest with Sooner Athletic Conference opponent, Mid-America Christian University.
