Season Preview: A Letter from Coach Richter

Season Preview: A Letter from Coach Richter

You know you are a baller when you measure time in relation to seasons as opposed to years. It is 2019, a new season is upon us and it is an exciting time to be part of the DCC Women's Basketball Program! We have many new faces as well as some stellar upgrades around our campus. For starters, you are reading these words on the page of our brand new athletic website. Here you will be able to keep up with all things Crusaders and follow along with us on our journey throughout the season.

When you step onto campus and into our gym, you will see that our facilities have been given a fantastic facelift! We want to continue to be relevant and be trending upwards in regards to the experience that we offer our student athletes. Having said that, we are thrilled about the upgrades that we have implemented during the summer: fresh gym accent paint, improved - spacious lobby area and entry way, revamped training room, new scoreboards, AND, drum roll please, newly remodeled locker rooms for each of our court sports! It is so special for our players to have a space to call their own and it is a good time to be a Crusader

We are excited about each individual that will help make up our DCC WBB family this year. We have 4 returners and 8 new faces and we have already tipped off pre-season workouts. The the seeds are being planted for an awesome 2019-20 season. We will water those seeds with hard work, positivity, and a growth mentality. As a team, we have committed ourselves to the process of daily improvement and to enjoying the journey. Sports offer us an epic platform to learn about ourselves and our teammates through the inevitable highs and lows that arise in any given practice, game, and season. We invite you on the adventure with us. Please follow us on our website as well as our Twitter account, @_dallaswbb.

I am excited about the possibilities that this season will offer us. Best swishes and we hope to see you on campus very soon!
